The idea of the project started from Mirsal nurseries. When Mersal provided the incapacitated patients with 12 incubators with their devices, a medical staff consisting of consultants and deputies from the best university hospitals in Egypt, and a full nursing department, reservations are made in the nursery and all the medical needs of the newborn are provided, in addition to post-discharge follow-up. Despite this, there is still a large gap between need and availability.

Mersal started its role to reduce the difference through the Critical Cases Center project for newborns, which will include 21 incubators and 6 intensive care beds in a building consisting of three floors.
