Sponsoring healthy and handicapped orphans is on top of the priorities of Al Orman Association activities. The service is done through 5 orphanages by providing them with alternate mothers, specialized supervisors, social workers and psychologists. The organization is also concerned with alternate families under the auspices of Ministry of Social Solidarity where 4500 children were domestically adopted (Kafala)

Whoever wishes to sponsor an orphan in his home can submit the required papers and fulfill the following conditions of sponsorship:

●  A family (husband and wife) of age group no less than 21 years and not older than 60 years old.

●  Widow or divorcee or single – minimum 30 years old with – Egyptian Muslims with shelter and a stable income

●  Husband and wife should have completed at least the secondary education or its equivalent.

For sponsorship application, visit the nearest office of the Ministry of Social Solidarity (Family and Childhood Administration) to your place of residence. Once accepted, visit the orphanage to receive the orphan.

Needed documents

●      Marriage certificate.

●      2 personal photos for each spouse.

●      Lease contract of apartment or ownership.

●      Copy of a valid ID.

●      Electricity or gas receipt.

●      Birth certificates of children (if any).

●      Proof of income.

Sponsor an orphan child in installments, with a share, or with whatever you can afford with the Orman Association, and be there for him.
