Livestock Head Distribution

Livestock Head Distribution

This project is one of the most successful projects, as we all know the importance of livestock in the Egyptian countryside, and the extent of its economic contribution to the lives of its residents, as well as the development of livestock in Egypt. In it, a head of cattle of Ashar, 5 months or more, is delivered in good condition and suitable for breeding, and its cost is 70,200 pounds.

Delivery procedures:

1- Cases are reached through village directories or small associations, and are submitted to the projects office in the governorate

. 2- An inquiry is made through delegates of the governorate projects and the names are reviewed on the database.

3- A copy of the names shall be submitted to the follow-up department to make a matching of the cases and to determine whether or not the beneficiary is entitled.

4- A date is set for the handover ceremony, and the handover takes place in the presence of officials from the governorate, such as the governor or the undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity or Veterinary Medicine.

5- A delivery contract is made for the due cases to ensure that they are not wasted for the project.

6- Livestock is insured, and this insurance is used to treat animals in veterinary units, and to obtain compensation in cases of animal death or emergency slaughter.

Monthly feeding: The beneficiary of the project receives an amount of 600 pounds per month throughout the original head pregnancy period, and this is from the date of handing over the head until after delivery.

– In case of death or forced slaughter of the mother head and obtaining compensation (without neglecting the case), the case will be given another head instead. 78,676 head of cattle have been delivered since 2000.

Participate in feeding livestock and provide a source of livelihood for a poor family in installments, a share, or whatever you can with the Orman Association.
